Our Mission To help children with Problems
Our Vision The problem is serious but the solution does not have to be
How everything began.
Everything began when Björn Cronzell’s son, Jonathan, was 2.5 years old, diagnosed with autism. The diagnosis involved a major change in life for the family. One of the major problems for Björn was that Jonathan did not want to eat properly. They went to a special dietician, but without any success.
Many children with autism want to eat, but they need a concrete reason to do that. Therefore, Björn began to draw the landscape where the superhero POOW resides, and let him perform various heroic missions with Jonathan’s help. Through the method, Jonathan got a reason to start eating, and the problem was solved.
Björn Cronzell then hatched the idea of transferring the method to an application, so that other parents of children with different types of eating disorders could also get help from it.
Today, together with the other team members behind POOW Applications, he has implemented the idea through the app POOW The Food Hero. There are few things in his son Jonathan today that show that he once had difficulty eating. He is another person today, and a large part of it is because he receives a varied diet.
